Flying High Event: Shaping the Future of Drones in UK Cities
Small unmanned aviation technology is progressing rapidly and the prospect of drones taking to the skies is fast approaching.
Led by cities, Nesta’s Flying High Challenge seeks to position the UK to become a global leader in shaping drone systems that place people’s needs first. The challenge has comprised a collaborative engagement with five UK city-regions, central government, technology experts, firms and regulators to explore the opportunities and challenges of drones operating in cities.
Join us on Monday 23 July for Flying High: Shaping the Future of Drones in UK Cities, where we will launch our new report and findings from the first phase of the Flying High programme. The evening will include presentations and a panel discussion featuring key stakeholders and industry experts. You will have the chance to put any burning questions to our expert panel in a Q&A session.
The event will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including local and national government, industry experts, academics and others with an interest in drones and future cities and will be followed by a networking and drinks reception.
Registration opens at 17:30, with the event starting promptly at 18:00. The event will close at 19:30 followed by a drinks reception until 20:30. You can register your interest to attend via this link.
